VEILUNE Website Privacy Notice
1. Who we are and what this notice covers
This website is operated by Veil Guard Technologies, Inc. You can reach us with any privacy question or request at privacy@veilguard.ai.
This notice covers only this public website. The VEILUNE product, including the parent console and the apps, has its own policy: the VEILUNE Privacy Policy. If you are a VEILUNE member or are thinking about becoming one, that document describes exactly what the product collects and why.
2. This website is for adults
This site is written for parents, caregivers, and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not seek any information about children here. Please do not submit a child's name, age, or any other information about a child through this site.
If information about a child reaches us through this site anyway, we do not use it, we do not add it to any list, and we delete it promptly. If a message needs an answer, we reply once to the person who wrote to us and then delete the child information it contained.
3. The waitlist
If you choose to join the waitlist, we ask for your email address and, if you wish, your first name. Joining also records your consent choice, so we have a record that you asked to hear from us. That is the whole list.
The small math question on the form exists only to tell people apart from automated programs. Your answer is checked and not kept.
Your submission goes only to the system we use to manage the waitlist. It is never placed in a web address, and it is kept separate from the VEILUNE product. Joining the waitlist does not create a VEILUNE account.
4. Website analytics
This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-conscious, cookie-free measurement service. It places no cookies and stores no identifiers on your device, and it cannot identify you. It tells us, in aggregate, which pages are visited, roughly how visitors found the site, and whether the waitlist is being used.
We never send names, email addresses, form contents, or any other personal information to analytics. Aggregate statistics are kept for no more than 24 months.
5. Basic technical records
Like every website, this site's hosting service records basic technical information, including internet addresses, for a short time. We use those records only to keep the site secure and working, and for nothing else.
6. How we use what we collect
We use the waitlist information to send you what you asked for: product updates, information about early access when it becomes available, and family safety guidance. We use analytics to understand how the site is doing. That is all.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not combine it with information from the VEILUNE product.
7. Who helps us
A small number of service providers help us run this site, for example website hosting and email delivery. They act only on our instructions and only to provide their service to us.
8. How long we keep waitlist information
We keep your waitlist information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose, whichever comes first. Every email we send includes a working unsubscribe link.
9. Your choices and your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. You can also write to privacy@veilguard.ai to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer every such request.
If you live in California: we do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined in California law, and you may make the access and deletion requests described above at any time. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.
10. Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, we will publish a new version here with a new version number and effective date, and we keep prior versions for the record. If a change meaningfully affects the waitlist, we will tell waitlist members by email before it takes effect.
